The Cocktail-JAM Hybrid Kit is not exactly new, but after the enormous success last year, the renowned brands Tama and Roland have combined forces once more to re-release it in a limited number. This set includes a regular cocktail kit by Tama, augmented by a Roland TM-2 module and trigger set.

Smack-dab in the middle of summer, Tama presents some pretty unique snare drums: two 14 x 8-inch Starphonic models and a 14 x 6.5-inch Sound Lab Projects Mirage Crystal Ice. As an added bonus, they're also throwing in an acrylic version of the Cocktail Jam.

This new version has shells that are all 2 inches smaller than the standard JAM and is also available in three colours. Both models are easily transported in two gig bags.
