The Tama LBO147-MTO Backbeat Birch Bubinga in matte Tan Oak is a 14 x 7-inch Limited Edition snare drum from Tama's S.L.P. series. This Sound Lab Project line consists of drums that have each been created with a specific type of musician in mind, thus each possessing a very distinct sound. The 8mm-thick shell of this gorgeous, deep snare is made of 5 plies of birch, 3 inner plies of bubinga and 1 outer ply of oak. Combined with the Steel Mighty hoop, that creates rich, high mids, while retaining a full sound in the lower frequency regions. Please note: only available in a limited number.
