A Tama Imperialstar Hyper-Drive drum set ensures that the crowd hears every note you play. This beautiful IP52BHH6-HLG in Hairline Gold is a complete drum set that is suited for both beginners and advanced drummers. The Imperialstar series is known to provide great quality for a very reasonable price. The Hyper-Drive kit in Hairline Gold comes with a set of Zildjian cymbals and Tama stands, a bass drum pedal and a drum throne.

The Hyper-Drive name refers to the toms. Their depth differs from that of standard toms, which allows for improved attack, more punch and a greatly enhanced response. Also, you can mount these shallow toms a bit lower, giving you more freedom to move around the kit. This drum set consists of a 22-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 16-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5-inch snare drum. The shells are made of 6 plies of birch (except for the bass drum, which has 7 plies) and are equipped with Tama Precision Bearing Edges. These bearing edges make sure that the shells can resonate freely and have an open sound. The Sound Bridge High-Tension lugs also contribute to the optimal shell resonance, because they make minimal contact with the shells.

Cymbals and hardware

This drum set, in a gorgeous Hairline Gold finish, is supplied with a three-piece cymbal set by renowned cymbal manufacturer Zildjian. You can mount these cymbals on the sturdy Tama cymbal stands (straight, boom and hi-hat). The toms will feel right at home on Tama's tried-and-true tom mounting system, which is easy to adjust, but also provides the toms with plenty of stability, while allowing them to resonate freely. The Black Nickel Plated hoops make tuning your drums a lot easier and make sure that their tuning stays consistent. Besides that, they allow for a crisp attack with clear highs and for rimshots that are more powerful than ever. Finally, the Tama Imperialstar Hyper-Drive drum kits are equipped with Powercraft II drumheads.
