Gebruikers van Cubase 6.5 hebben wellicht al kennis gemaakt met de Padshop software synthesizer. Maar voor de rest van de producers is hij nu ook los beschikbaar als softwarematige plugin. Padshop Pro is een bijzondere, futuristische software synthesizer, met verschillende klanken die volledig verbouwd kunnen worden met het bewerkingsgereedschap dat in de software zit. Met meer dan 400 presets zit er ongetwijfeld wel iets bruikbaars tussen dat u kunt gebruiken om uw eigen klanken te ontwikkelen.
Padshop Pro als software synth
Het voordeel van Padshop Pro is dat het met talloze DAW's gebruikt kan worden. Zo biedt de software VST 3, VST 2 en AU ondersteuning en werkt hij met zowel windows als Mac. Maar dat is niet de enige reden waarom u voor Padshop Pro zou kiezen. Dat zou meer te maken hebben met de zeer uitgebreide klankbewerkingseigenschappen, waardoor het creëren van een volstrekt unieke sound mogelijk wordt. Verschillende filters, oscillatoren, modulatie-matrixen en zelfs een mono en poly modus met Legato en Glide zijn toegevoegd. Wat wenst u nog meer?
Extra elementen van Padshop Pro
De Pro-versie van Padshop bevat wat extraatjes die de normale variant niet heeft. Het gaat onder meer om sample import via drag-and-drop, wat handig is als u met complex sounddesign bezig bent. Verder is er een driebands equalizer per layer aanwezig om klanken te optimaliseren. Een algoritmische reverb voegt meer diepte en verrijking toe aan uw klank.
