Steinberg lanceert met de CMC-reeks een serie controllers die u zelf kunt combineren om een ultieme studio-bewerking via controllers te genereren. U zit niet vast aan een bepaalde indeling, maar u kunt juist de controllers zelf positioneren naar wens. Creëer uw eigen control-surface door te combineren! De CMC-reeks is eenvoudig te integreren in Cubase, het is een kwestie van plug & play.

De CMC-FD USB controller

Faders tekort? Dan neemt u één of maximaal vier van deze controllers om eenvoudig uw DAW aan te kunnen sturen. De kracht van de CMC-FD zit hem in het feit dat u uw tracks bijna kunt voelen. De faders zijn namelijk aanraakgevoelige strips met LED-indicatoren, waardoor het instellen van een waarde opeens heel anders werkt.

Meter mode en andere functies voor Cubase

De CMC-FD heeft ook een speciale 'meter mode', waarbij hij via de LED-indicatoren de volumewaardes van de spelende sporen weergeeft. Het on the fly aanpassen van volumewaarden wordt nu een stuk makkelijker, zonder tussenkomst van de muis. En daar zit de kracht ook van deze kleine controllers. U zult merken dat u de muis steeds minder nodig heeft om bepaalde functies te triggeren.

Wrote the following about Steinberg CMC-FD USB

Steinberg en Yamaha zijn de laatste jaren voortvarend bezig met de integratie van Steinberg software (=Cubase) en de speciaal voor Cubase ontwikkelde Yamaha hardware. De CMC series zijn hierin weer een grote stap voorwaarts.
Op dit moment kunnen er van de CMC-fader maximaal 4 units via USB worden aangesloten, waarbij er dus 16 faders ter beschikking staan die naadloos zijn geintegreerd met Cubase.
Ik heb inderdaad direct 4 units besteld en het werkt fantastisch! De integratie van deze CMC-FD met
Cubase is echt fantastisch. Met de shift toets maak je de fader extra gevoelig. Erg sterk is ook dat elk kanaal via de CMC-FD op Mute of Solo kan worden gezet. En ook dit wordt dan direct verwerkt in de Cubase mixer op je scherm.
