General

The Squier Black and Chrome Series Standard Telecaster is an affordable, yet reliable and especially beautiful version of a true Fender classic. Its black body has a stylish finish with a striking chrome-plated pickguard and two characteristic Telecaster single-coil pickups making it an excellent instrument with an all-time transparent sound for the ambitious starting guitarist.

The famous Telecaster

Fender gained massive popularity when they issued their first solid body guitar: the Telecaster. This guitar has been loved by country and blues musicians but also matches rock and other, rougher types of music thanks to its bright, direct sound created by the two single-coil pickups and the large metal bridge plate. The alnico bridge pickup of the Squier Black and Chrome Standard Telecaster provides an even broader sound.

The Squier brand

The most famous Fender models, such as the Stratocaster, Telecaster and Precision bass guitars, have been imitated by many manufacturers. That’s why Fender started their subsidiary Squier in 1982, so they could provide beginner guitarists with their own reliable,attractive and above all affordable alternative. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications made by, and under supervision of Fender.
