General

Sound Forge for Mac enables Apple users to finally experience the fantastic Sony audio editing software that Windows users have been raving about for years. According to Sony, this package has been built on a clean slate, so it's not just a conversion of the Windows package. Using Sound Forge for Mac, Apple users are now able to edit, restore and master their audio materials the Sound Forge way. The configurable panels allow you to quickly navigate your project using your own preferred layout. Record multi-channel tracks (using up to 32 channels) in 64-bit/192kHz audio quality and edit the results in any way you like.

Editing

Sony Sound Forge offers you a choice of editing options such as fades, flip, mute, normalise and reverse, and the fantastic iZotope and Zplane plug-ins add even more options. Event-based editing enables you to specify a specific range within a sound, which can then be moved along the timeline - basically in the same way programs like Vegas and Acid work. Featuring these and many other options, Sound Forge Pro MAC 1.0 offers you all the essential tools you need for your music productions, all collected in a user-friendly package with a time-tested reputation.
