De Sound Forge 9 professionele digitale audio productie suite bevat alles wat u nodig heeft om uw ruwe audio naar een goed eindproduct te masteren. Deze suite kunt u gebruiken om stereo- en multikanaals audiobestanden te creëren en te bewerken. Efficiënt analyseren, opnemen, bewerken en digitaliseren is allemaal mogelijk met Sony Soundforge 9. De software is bovendien ideaal voor het masteren van replicatie klare CD's.
In aanvulling op de Sound Forge 9 software omvat deze uitgebreide audio productie suite Architect 5-software voor het ontwerpen, masteren en branden van Red Book audio-CD's. Architect 5 bevat onder andere 'Noise Reduction 2' plug-ins. Met deze plug-ins kunt u audio problemen oplossen zoals ruis, het inzoom geluid van een camera, het klikken van een muis en andere onnodige geluiden. Bovendien bevat hij de 'Mastering Effects Bundle' van iZotope, een verzameling van vier professionele audio plug-ins.
Sound Forge 9 software is een complete set van instrumenten voor het opnemen van audio. Neem meteen op met uw geluidskaart of gebruik de Record Timer die begint en eindigt op de door u aangegeven begin- en eindtijd. U kunt ook beginnen met opnemen wanneer een bepaalde audio drempel is bereikt, genaamd 'Threshold Record Triggering'. Sound Forge software ondersteunt de volledige resolutie van 24 bit en 32-bit/64-bit float 192 kHz bestanden voor de ultieme audio kwaliteit.
Toepassing van meer dan 40 professionele studio-effecten zoals normaliseren, EQ, delay, chorus, volume, dynamiek, noise gate, pitch shift, flens en vibrato. U kunt ook meerdere effecten samen toepassen met behulp van de plug-in chainer. Sound Forge 9 software ondersteunt ook DirectX en VST-effecten, waaronder parameter automatisering. Tevens ondersteunt Sound Forge 9 verschillende video formaten zoals AVI, WMV, en MPEG-1 en MPEG-2.
