Bent Circuits by SONiVOX features an enormous collection of beats and textures created by Ben Cantil (Encanti). This Bostonian drummer has definitely earned his stripes in the world of electronic music, and has been active as a producer, synth player, DJ, VJ and sound designer for years. Composing original and experimental electronic music is a lot easier with this unique sound bank. Thanks to the variety of sample formats, there's always going to be at least one that will be compatible with your sampler or sequencer.

Bent Circuits: unique sound bank

Electronic toys, synths, Game Boys and other gadgets have all been used to put together this one-of-a-kind sound bank. You'll find that the drum loops cover a broad range of styles, including hip-hop, electro, IDM, glitch, jungle, gabber and break-beat. Bent Circuits is a handsome 2.5 GB and consists of more than 450 loops and a large number of single hits, effects and textures.

The sample formats

Bent Circuits is suited for Mac and PC, and is compatible with all major software. The samples on this CD come in the following formats: Acid, WAV, REX2 and Apple Loops. By putting these files in different audio tracks in your sequencer you can create your own track in no time at all. Acid, REX2 and Apple Loops make it possible to adjust the tempo and/or pitch of the sample to match that of your project. Nowadays, most programs - FL Studio, Cubase, Sonar, Ableton, etc. - will support at least one of these formats.
