General

De Cable Glider reeks van Showtec richt zich voornamelijk op professionele rigging. Dit systeem werkt volgens een erg apart principe met staalkabel en is geschikt voor vaste installatie. Hiermee wordt het mogelijk om truss-constructies aan het dak van uw pand te bevestigen of bepaalde objecten te monteren.

Middels een druksysteem worden de staalkabels in de Cable Gliders goed vastgehouden en kunnen ze in de meeste gevallen alleen nog maar omhoog bewegen en niet meer omlaag. Meer dan handvast aandraaien plus nog een kwart draai met een stuk gereedschap is niet nodig om een veilige installatie te voorzien.

Ook in de theaterwereld is dit systeem ideaal, voor bijvoorbeeld het ophangen van decorstukken in een trekkenwand.

Deze variant is naast schroefdraad ook voorzien van een M12 vliegoog waardoor de verschillende toepassingen alleen maar groter worden. Met een buitendiameter van 54 mm en een binnendiameter van 30 mm kunnen zelfs dikke steels door dit oog worden gevoerd. Het systeem werkt hetzelfde als de normale 50SV II versie en heeft ook een belastbaarheid van 80 of 130 kilo. (Zonder veiligheidsmarges!)

Showtec has just announced the addition of three remarkable LED spots to their Events line. Their EventLITE series is now a wireless party light effect richer, namely the EventLITE 7/4 , which features 7 4-watt RGBW-LEDs that bathe objects or walls in multi-coloured light via DMX or WiFi. At the same time, they've added two smaller units to their Eventspot series, the Eventspot 60 Q 7 in silver and black. These are battery-powered 7-in-1 LED spots.
