General
The Sennheiser E-840-S (white) is a professional dynamic vocal microphone with a noiseless on/off switch. Apart from the switch, this microphone has exactly the same specifications as the E-840. The metal housing of the Sennheiser E-840 is robust and durable, making it ideal for use on stage. Thanks to the clever construction the microphone hardly suffers from any feedback, handling noise and electromagnetic interference.
The sound of the E-840-S
Besides having a solid construction, the Sennheiser E-840-S produces an open and full sound, that will cut through the loudest stage mixes. The microphone suppresses ambient noise efficiently, thanks to its pickup angle. Its integrated shock mount makes it insensitive to handling noise. Via the switch you can easily mute the microphone, without hearing a loud sound over the PA system. In order to ensure that you won't accidentally switch off your microphone during a gig, it can be locked.
