De SE2200A condensator studio microfoon is een microfoon met een groot membraan en 'low noise' klasse A FET elektronica. Hoewel dit een instap model is uit het assortiment van SE Electronics heeft deze 2200A geweldige specificaties en is opgebouwd uit kwaliteitselektronica.
De SE2200A is uitgerust met 25 mm verguld mylar diafragma met een cardioide opname patroon. Een schakelbaar low-off filter is ook aanwezig, evenals een schakelbare 20dB verzwakker. De SE2200A is ontzettend allround, hij kan gebruikt worden voor ontzettend veel toepassingen zoals zang, spraak, orkesten, percussie, piano en zelfs violen en gitaren! Met het design zit het ook wel goed, een mooie zilveren afwerking met een bijgeleverde shockmount.
