sE Electronics is terug gegaan naar old-skool designs met de S3. Dit resulteerde in een professioneel microfoonstatief dat gemaakt is om lang mee te gaan en een zware last kan dragen.

De S3 is een standaard met zware poten en brede spreiding die niet wiebelt met uw dure studiomicrofoon eraan. De veergeladen telescoopbuizen, grote contragewicht en armklem staan daarnaast garant voor een stevige positionering. De S3 heeft inclusief standaard en hefboom een totale lengte van 5 meter.
