General

The G3500 is based on the Gemini 2 and uses the same handmade capsule, a chassis that is designed to scale, but it is a FET-only version. It might look small, but it is ideal for use as lead vocal mic or primary acoustic guitar microphone. The microphone gives a light boost to vocals in the high frequencies from 5,000 to 20,000 Hz with a peak at 10,000 Hz. This makes the vocals sound better and more clear. The microphone comes with a stylish shockmount and a steel-reinforced, black aluminium flightcase.
