De negende in de SRX reeks wave expansion boards van Roland is een encyclopedie van zeldzame instrumentklanken van over de hele wereld. Deze uitbreiding is geschikt voor diverse Roland producten. Dit pakket heeft van alle speciale klanken op de wereld wel iets. Zo kunt u een bepaald werelddeel in uw muziek verwerken wat tevens erg geschikt is voor filmmuziek.

Het klankbord bevat 64MB aan nieuwe golfvormen en klanken. Deze hoogwaardige geluiden kunnen zonder laden worden gebruikt. De SRX-09 bevat allerlei unieke strijkers-, blazers- en percussieklanken, gebruikt in muziek uit Afrika, Azië, het Midden-Oosten, Zuid- en Noord-Amerika, Australië en Europa.
