General

The Roland RG-1F-SB is a digital mini grand piano with a remarkably natural sound and feel. Thanks to the SuperNATURAL sound generator and the PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard, you'll feel like you are playing a genuine, acoustic grand. The letters SB refer to the colour of the piano: this RG-1F has a chic, satin black finish, which makes it a beautiful asset for your living room.

SuperNATURAL piano and PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard

The Roland RG-1F is equipped with SuperNATURAL technology, which ensures an unparalleled playing experience, especially compared to the previous generation of digital pianos. Various elements of your playing experience are improved, including the response to your strokes, the way the notes decay, and the key-range behaviour. The PHA III keyboard with hammer response provides a highly authentic playing experience. The Escapement mechanism produces the same 'click' as the keyboard of an acoustic grand, which is particularly beneficial for expressive pianissimo playing. The keys are finished with an Ivory Feel layer which absorbs moisture, preventing your fingers from sliding.

Beautiful design and USB port

Not only the technology of this digital Roland mini grand is impressive, its design is a real show-stopper as well. Despite its moderate depth of 73 cm, the RG-1F-SB looks similar to a genuine grand, and is fitted with a lid that can be opened and closed. The lid is fitted with a locking mechanism, which prevents it from closing accidentally. The control panel looks simple, but is highly practical. Connect a USB stick or a USB-compatible CD player and you can play along with your favourite music. It is even possible to play back WAV files and Standard MIDI Files via the internal stereo speakers of the RG-1F mini grand piano.
