General

De PRELUDE is het vlaggenschip van de nieuwe Roland keyboards. De fabrikant heeft zelf de gewaagde tekst "de PRELUDE klinkt als een keyboard die twee keer zo veel kost" meegegeven, maar liegt daarmee niet eens.

De PRELUDE bevat zoveel mogelijkheden, dat de prijs verbazingwekkend genoemd mag worden. Het keyboard is uitgerust met honderden geluiden van topkwaliteit, afkomstig uit de bekende Roland geluidsmodules. Uiteraard heeft de PRELUDE ook een 128-stemmig polyfoon.

De vele geluiden kenmerken zich door een grote diversiteit, waaronder westerse geluiden en klanken en stijlen van over de hele wereld. Met de Style Convertor en Playlist Editor-software kunt u uw muziek op de PC aanpassen en arrangeren. Center Cancel zorgt er voor dat u vocalen van reeds bestaand materiaal kunt onderdrukken en met de BEAM controller kunnen klank en weergave via een infrarode straal met de hand beïnvloedt worden. Voor directe weergave van MP3, WAV, AIFF en SMF bestanden via een geheugenstick heeft de PRELUDE een USB speler.
