General

Roland is and will always be one of the most important players in the field of digital pianos. The Roland FP-50 digital piano white is another one of those typical Roland products that exceed all expectations. It's not just any digital piano we've know for decades. Offering a wide range of sounds and 90 rhythms (with two variations each), it almost resembles a keyboard. Although the main focus is on the piano sound, the additional features and the construction (only a keyboard) make this model ideal for performances.

From now through 30 April 2015, a stand is included free of charge.

The sound of the FP-50-WH

Thanks to Roland's SuperNATURAL technology, the FP-50 offers an excellent sound. Whether you are playing pianissimo or fortissimo, jazz, rock, pop or classical, this digital piano is at your service. The touch-sensitivity of the keys is stepless (as it should be), which adds to the authentic playing experience, and the notes decay in a life-like way as well. As far as sound is concerned, this budget-friendly instrument can definitely compete with the larger and more expensive digital pianos on the market. The icing on the cake is the keyboard with Ivory Feel-G technology, which provides your strokes with the realistic feel of a genuine grand piano.

Additional features

Store a WAV file with your favourite music on a USB stick, plug it into the FP-50 and the its speakers will reproduce the file for you. You can even play along - as your playing and the backing track are reproduced by the same speakers, the final mix sounds fabulous. The FP-50 also allows for the playback of MIDI files via a USB stick, and even enables you to record your own playing as an audio file (you can use your computer to burn your performance on a CD). If you own an iPod, iPad or iPhone, you can use the speakers of the FP-50 to wirelessly play the music on these devices. All you need is the optional Roland Wireless Connect (WNA1100-RL) and the free Air Performer app. All in all, this FP-50 digital piano offers you all the functionality you need for hours of fun.
