General

This 19-inch professional mixer is driven by a microprocessor. The MX-1800 features five channels: four channels with multiple inputs and one balanced microphone channel.

The multiple input channels are equipped with a 3-band EQ, gain and a double wet & dry FX assign. For the microphone channel there's a separate tonal control, talk over, pan PFL and FX insert. Furthermore, two USB in and outputs can be connected, and the MX-1800 has an alarm security. The latter stops the music when a fire alarm goes off, for instance, and the microprocessor can still be used for instructions.

Wrote the following about Rodec MX-1800 installation mixer

Had ooit is met een oude MX180 gedraaid, was er direct aan verkocht. Klank/handeling was subliem in verhouding met de rest. Toen ik mijn sync mengpaneel beu was, en een beetje gespaard had, heb ik bij bax ZEER VEEL mixers getest. Besloot toen de 1800 te kopen ipv de 180 vanwege de usb ingang. Ik heb deze mixer nu meer dan 3 jaar in bezit, gewoon een topmixer. Doet alles nog alsof hij nieuw is. Ik vind dit product een ongelooflijk topproduct, jammer dat deze mixer niet de standaard is in clubs/discotheken/..., maar de pure digitale mixers de overhand hebben op kwalitatief superieure mixers.
