General
De Multiface II is een audio interface met acht analoge lijningangen, en voldoende digitale in- en uitgangen waaronder ADAT, SPDIF en MIDI. Hij is gebaseerd op de Fireface 800. Goede geluidskaart met lage latency.
De Cardbus sluit u, middels een standaard FireWire kabel, eenvoudig aan op uw laptop. Deze PCMCIA kaart heeft geen externe voeding nodig en werkt plug en play op iedere laptop met Windows en Mac OSX.
De Multiface II van RME wordt niet alleen multi genoemd vanwege zijn vele analoge en digitale in- en uitgangen, maar vooral omdat hij al deze in- en uitgangen tegelijkertijd kan gebruiken.
In de kleine, half 19 inch kast zitten naast acht gebalanceerde analoge audio in- en uitgangen ook een optische ADAT, SPDIF, Wordclock en een MIDI in en out.
Deze 24-bit/96kHz geluidskaart heeft een extreem lage latency, waardoor hij geschikt is voor producers die met virtuele effecten en synthesizers werken. Daarnaast is zijn geluidskwaliteit zeer goed.
