De MADI Bridge van RME is ontwikkeld voor de studiospecialist die voornamelijk met digitale MADI-signalen werkt. Zeker bij uitgebreide setups ontstaan al snel veelvuldige digitale kanalen, die u toch op een of andere manier wilt bundelen.

U kunt tot 16 MADI apparaten aan de RME Bridge koppelen door middel van zes coaxiale (BNC) en twee optische in- en uitgangen. Dankzij de overzichtelijke interface is de MADI Bridge gemakkelijk in gebruik. U kunt hem op afstand bedienen en configureren via MIDI.

U kunt alle ingang signalen naar iedere willekeurige uitgang routen tot 64 kanalen tegelijkertijd bij iedere sample-rate. Hij is zowel te gebruiken in de studio als live. Alle kanalen gaan via optische of coax kabels die een lengte kunnen bevatten van meer dan 100 meter.
