The Pioneer T-U101 X-stand is a practical and compact table stand for your DJ setup. It offers sufficient space and solidity for the Pioneer RMX-500, the Pioneer RMX-1000 and other compact devices, such as your laptop. The stand can be folded into an ultra-compact size (only 18.5 mm thick), which means it is easy to transport. Once it is set up, the platform can be set to three different angles. The rubber feet and pads prevent your precious equipment from sliding and protect it from scratches. The open mid section underneath the stand ensures that the Pioneer T-U101 X-stand is no hindrance for your cables.

Toch besteld eenmaal binnen en uit de doos snapte ik waarom.
Deze standaard gebruik ik voor mijn RMX-500. Als de meeste DJs net zoals ik met hun RMX-500 effecten aan de slag is dan ben ik behoorlijk zwaar en hard op de knoppen aan het draaien. Deze standaard beweegt geen millimeter!! Hij staat bij mij in de hoogste stand (wat hem op zich onstabieler zou moeten maken) en nog bij de heftigste draai actie aan de RMX knoppen geeft de standaard geen kick! Well done Pioneer!
Komt nog eens bij dat niet alleen de bouwkwaliteit goed is, maar Pioneer heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de constructie jaren lang mee gaat door de juiste materialen te kiezen en de juiste dikte van het metaal. Alles netje afgewerkt met een goede zwarte coating en rubbers om je RMX goed op de standaard te zetten zonder beschadigingen of beweging.
Je krijgt daarbij dus een extensie voor een laptop (niet getest) en ze leveren een hoesje mee zodat je de standaard netjes kunt meenemen zonder de standaard of andere apparatuur te krassen.
Kortom, als je twijfelt over de prijs, hoop ik dat bovenstaande je helpt om de knoop door te hakken. Het blijft een hoop geld voor een stuk metaal, maar als je hem uitpakt snap je ook wel waarom.
