General

The 6-ply birch shells in the Pearl Vision Birch series of drums are based on the original Vision formula and provide a beautifully balanced, almost naturally EQ'd tone. This Vision drum set in a Polished Chrome finish consists of a 22-inch bass drum, 12 and 13-inch toms, a 16-inch floor tom and a matching 14-inch snare.

Pearl's own SST Shell Design

The birch shells create a focused and natural sound, with a great distribution of highs, mids and lows. The shells have been fabricated in line with Pearl's Superior Shell Technology, which uses heat, precision cutting, Acoustiglue and hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. By strategically arranging the plies of wood, they've maximised the frequency response.

Drumheads

The included two-ply drumheads are easier to tune than normal drumheads and produce a powerful sound. These drumheads are only included with Pearl Vision Series drums.
