Pearl's Vision Birch drum sets are based on the original Vision formula and have shells made from six plies of birch wood. This type of wood is known for delivering a balanced sound. This Vision set in Jet Black finish consists of a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom and a matching 14-inch snare.

Birch wood and SST Shell Design

The birch shells create a focused and natural sound, with a great distribution of highs, mids and lows. Ideally suited for both studio and stage! The shells have been fabricated in line with Pearl's Superior Shell Technology, which uses heat, precision cutting, Acoustiglue and hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. By strategically arranging the plies of wood, they've maximised frequency response.

Drumheads

The included double-ply drumheads are easier to tune than normal drumheads and produce a powerful sound. These drumheads are only included with Pearl Vision Series drums.
