The Ovation CC54i-PL (Satin Platinum) is an exceptional guitar. Not only does it feature the familiar Roundback body, it is also equipped with a special iDea OPI-1 preamplifier with a recording function - ideal for guitarists and songwriters who want to be able to record ideas as soon as they hit. The Mid-Depth body size of this electro-acoustic western guitar is neither too slim nor too wide, ensuring a powerful acoustic sound as well as a pleasant playing experience.

Recording with the CC54i

The pickup and built-in microphone of the CC54i enable you to record up to 100 minutes of guitar playing and singing in MP3 format. You can listen to the results by means of the regular 6.3mm output or the 3.5mm headphone output, but you can also transfer the files to your computer via USB. The Ovation guitar is equipped with an aux input and three-band tone controls as well, and, as an additional feature, it's possible to upload your own MP3 files to the iDea OPI-1 preamp and play along with them or use them as backing tracks for your solos.
