Deze driekanaals digitale mixer is voorzien van een ingebouwde muziek gesynchroniseerde effecten processor. Daarnaast heeft het mengpaneel op ieder kanaal een driebands equalizer. De digitale faders zorgen er voor dat er geen ruis meer zal ontstaan.
De effecten processor heeft twaalf verschillende 24-bits digitale effecten, onder meer vocoder, tape echo, echo, flanger, phaser, filter en twee soorten reverbs. De X-9 is door Numark gemaakt voor de DJ die op zoek is naar een uitstekende geluidsweergave in combinatie met een prachtige 24-bits effect processor.
