General
Numark heeft met de Omni Control een USB/MIDI controller geproduceerd, die eigenlijk veel meer is dan hardware controller alleen. De Omni Control beschikt over een eigen geluidskaart, zodat u uw mixen naar hartelust kunt voorbeluisteren en uitsturen.
De Omnicontrol is de ruimere uitvoering van de Total Control. Naast Native Instrument's Traktor LE 2 wordt de MixMeister Fusion Live demosoftware meegeleverd. De Omni Control is uitgevoerd met hard-kunststof knoppen en stevige faders, waardoor hij zeer precies werkt. De ingebouwde hoge kwaliteit geluidskaart zorgt voor twee stereo uitgangen en natuurlijk een hoofdtelefoon uitgang. De Omni Control is voorzien van een stevige metalen behuizing.
Met het pakket worden zoals gezegd Traktor LE 2 en een demo voor MixMeister Fusion Live meegeleverd. Traktor is populaire DJ software dat compatibel is met zowel Mac als PC en met eigenlijk elk audioformaat. MixMeister Fusion Live is het perfecte programma voor DJ's die hun live producties willen verbeteren of willen optimaliseren. MixMeister Fusion is eventueel ook al gratis los te downloaden om een indruk te kunnen krijgen en deze later aan te sturen met deze Omni Control. Daarnaast kunt u natuurlijk ook uw eigen DJ software aansturen die beschikt over een MIDI functie.
Het verschil tussen de Omni Control en de Stealth Control is dat de Omni Control een ingebouwde geluidskaart heeft. De Stealth Control heeft dit niet!

Op het apparaat echter wel.
De koptelefoon uitgang en andere geluid outputs zijn niet wat ik er van verwacht had, in vergelijking met mijn eigen interne en externe geluidskaarten.
En het het belangrijkste is!!! deze controller kan niet samen werken met ander geluidskaarten...jammer zag er goed uit en voelde degelijk aan.
Bezorging was super.
Traktor LE werkt prima.
Zelf Traktor PRO 3.3 maar daar heb ik wat problemen met de midi istellingen. (cue knop rechts en links boven werken niet in Traktor Pro)
Kortom goed apparaat en goede service.
