General
Numark has equipped the NDX400 tabletop with every function you may expect from a CD player. Additionally, the player also allows you to play files from a flash drive.
The NDX-400 plays CDs and CD-Rs as well as MP3 files. The player is equipped with an excellent search function, which allows you to browse through the folders on your CDs or flash drive. It has a realistic vinyl feel: it starts and stops in the same way a real turntable would. The NDX-400 player has three CUE points, a loop function and fader start functionality.
The M6 provides an easy transition to a four-channel mixer. This club-style model is not only compatible with any standard audio source, such as turntables and CD players, but is also fitted with a USB connector. Connect the mixer to your Mac or PC and the plug-and-play connection allows you to mix audio in your music software and to record your sets in nearly any recording application.
The M6 offers a complete range of essential features, such as a three-band equalizer and LED metering per channel. The mixer has a replaceable crossfader with curve control and each channel can be assigned to either side of the crossfader.
The dedicated XLR microphone channel enables you to talk over your mix and channel 4 sports an additional mic input. In order to ensure the best possible sound, the M6 is equipped with balanced outputs.
Table top CD players are always supplied with a short RCA-RCA cable, which enables you to connect the player to a mixer. For intensive use, we recommend that you add a more supple cable with more rugged connectors to your order, such as the Procab CAB800.

Au niveau du materiel, les avis sont partagés ; certains apprécient d'autres moins. Personnellement je trouve que le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Seul bémol, le pitch des ndx400 à un peu la bougeotte mais avec un peu de pratique aucun souci.

over de set zelf: voor beginnende dj: top!
ik heb deze set een maand geleden gekocht, ik draaide al in 2 clubs. in de clubs draaide ik met pioneer. ik had nog lang geen genoeg geld voor pioneer maar wel voor deze. het is een uitstekende set voor deze prijs. het enige nadeel is dat als je met de usb draaid dat je alleen kunt zien welk nummer je afspeeld en niet meerdere. (dat heeft de pioneer wel) de mixer is ook een heel fijn, daar is ook niks op aan te merken alleen dat de aan en uit knop aan de achterkant zit

Over de M6 mixer heb ik niets te klagen, de vulumefaders en crossfader zijn zeer gemakkelijk te bedienen net als de EQ's. Er zijn meer dan voldoende in- en outputs aanwezig op de achterkant. De hoofdtelefoon kan gemakkelijk worden aangesloten. Qua design mag hij er ook wel wezen
De NDX400 maakt ook alle verwachtingen waar. Hij is makelijk in gebruik en alle functies die er op zitten werken naar behoren. Het jog wheel werkt ook goed evenals het scratchen. alleen is de BPM counter niet altijd even nauwkeurig maar hij wijkt nooit zo erg af dat het problemen veroorzaakt.
Kortom, voor de prijs is dit een geweldig setje dat voor iedereen geschikt is, niets dan lof over deze set en daarom ook 5 sterren.
Over de cdj's erg tevreden, tot nu toe totaal geen problemen ermee.
Wat de mixer betreft ben ik wat minder tevreden. Het is handig dat het een 4mixer is (ook al zal je dat waarschijnlijk niet snel gaan gebruiken als beginner).
Echter werken de knoppen zoals de LOW, MID en HI pas wanneer je hem helemaal hebt omgedraaid.. Voor mij een erg groot nadeel.
Wat betreft het geluid sturen naar je computer: Zelf gebruik ik een Apple computer, waarbij je een extern instrument (in dit geval de mixer) toevoegt bij Garageband (via de usb) dan klopt alles direct!
vooral dat de 2 ndx 400 allebei een usb ingang hebben hiervoor is het neit altijd nodig voor een grote cd map mee te nemen. ook heeft de ndx400 een goede reactie snelheid en kan op de miliseconde precies worden gezet.
een iets minder prettig iets is dat de nummer soms blijven hakken maar dit is zo verholpen door weer een keer op play ter drukken maar het is soms best onprettig. ook vind ik het iritant wat Ayrton leyssens ook al heeft gezegd dat je het geluid goed moet instellen al wil je een goed en mooi ruimtelijk geluid op de computer.
ik vind dit een helle fijne set en zeker voor beginners is het een aanrader.
je moet gewoon een keer de besschijving een keer lezen als het je eerste mengpaneel is en dan kan je zo beginnen met mooie mixen te maken.

De Numark NDX400 heeft een snelle zoekfunctie en iedereen kan er snel mee overweg. De brake-snelheid is zelf en makkelijk te bepalen, wat zeer handig is. Het enige wat ik iets minder vind aan deze NDX is dat je geen externe harde schijven kunt afspelen.
De Numark M6 heeft een duidelijk overzicht van zowel de crossfaders als van de toonregelaars. Het handige aan de mixer is ook dat je hem kan aansluiten op je pc. Maar dat vindt ik tevens ook weer een minpunt. Je moet je Pc ervoor gaan instellen dat hij geluid over de USB verstuurt. Dat vind ik het mindere.
Deze set is gewoon top!
