Numark heeft deze CD/MP3-speler ontworpen voor een groot aantal doeleinden. De MP-102 speelt zowel audio als MP3 files af en heeft een antishock geheugen voor het zonder problemen continu afspelen van muziek.
De MP102 CD/MP3-speler is gebouwd in 19 inch formaat, waardoor deze makkelijk te plaatsen is in een bestaande installatie of in een flightcase. De speler is 2HE hoog en beschikt over een groot verlicht display, pitchbend (+/- van 8 naar 16%) en zowel analoge als digitale uitgangen.
