General
De DDS media speler van Numark speelt muziek af van onder meer iPod's, harddisks, USB sticks en andere USB apparatuur. De DDS Control wordt gezien als de opvolger van de populaire D2 Director en beschikt over een groot HD kleurenscherm waarop de vele functies van het apparaat goed te overzien zijn.
Het grote kleurenscherm zorgt er eigenlijk gewoon voor dat het mixen weer een stuk gemakkelijker wordt. De DDS Control wordt geleverd inclusief USB toetsenbord, waarmee u snel door al uw muziek kunt bladeren en zoeken zodat u zich volledig op het mixen kunt richten. Het overgrote deel van de tijd bezig zijn met het zoeken naar bepaalde tracks, is daarmee verleden tijd. Het mixen wordt nóg eenvoudiger met de Beatkeeper technologie. Met deze functie kunt u de muziek namelijk synchroniseren met andere nummers, doordat de BPM van twee nummers gelijk wordt getrokken, zodat er één geheel ontstaat.
Naadloze loop functie, pitch control met Key Lock, pitch bend en scratchen met MP3, WAV en AAC; de DDS Control zit vol met uitstekende effecten en functies. De USB media speler speelt zelfs muziek op twee decks af van één bron! Twee nummers afspelen van één iPod behoort dus tot de mogelijkheden, een functie die maar op weinig digitale mixers te vinden is.
De moderne DJ zal zijn hart ophalen bij het zien van deze Numark DDS Control. Met het grote kleurendisplay beschikt de media speler over alles wat die moderne DJ zich maar kan wensen. Text-search en Pick-letter functie maken het daarnaast ook nog eens ontzettend makkelijk nummers te zoeken, af te spelen en playlisten te maken zónder hulp van een computer!

Ik gebruik deze elke week, en hij voldoet al men verwachtingen.
Ik moet niet meer met een laptop rond lopen, enkel mijn externe usb disc of stick, en met het bijgeleverde jeyboard kan ik op gelijk welke naam zoeken.
Ik kom van een systeem met SD kaarten, maar ik moest lijsten bijhouden wat erop stond en wat niet. Nu is het search functie handteren en, hopla, alles staat er wat ik zocht.
met zijn 3 USB ansluitingen kan er wat geheugen opgemonteerd worden.
Enig minpunt is misschien het scherm dat ik wat groter verwachte, maar het geeft een goed beeld!
De seamless loop is echt handig. hier kan ik naadloos alles aaneenmixen met loops.
Als treffer was er een USB stick bij. dus het is een aanrader wel wie veel data heeft en weinig wil meenemen.
