You have just built a new studio, complete with acoustic isolation, monitor speakers and a great computer for VST instruments. What's next? Which software can provide you with a plethora of instruments? Native Instruments Komplete 9, of course! It offers a wide range of virtual instruments for nearly any genre. Komplete 9 is the successor of the successful Komplete 8 and packs the necessary quantity and quality. Komplete 9 is an excellent instrument bundle for beginners, but more experienced producers will also appreciate it.

Komplete 9 contains 33 virtual instruments and effects: an impressive amount of 12.000 sounds and over 120 GB of samples. Also present are the renowned instruments of the earlier Komplete editions, such as the sampler Kontakt 5, the flexible Reaktor 5, the inspiring Guitar Rig 5 Pro, the smash hit Massive, the challenging Absynth 5 and the versatile, beautiful FM8.

The new kids in town
Monark, a virtual synthesizer that is obviously based on the legendary Mini Moog, provides you with deep bass tones, warm sounds and screeching leads. Native Instruments have spent years of research on their product and are justifiably proud of it. Battery 4 is new and offers impressive, up to date drum sounds. Thanks to the tagging system you can easily find the sound you are looking for and the side chaining options really augment your music productions. Session Strings is an excellent string section library: great if you are an avid 'in the box' orchestrator.

Applications
Komplete 9 offers samples and synthesizers: instruments and pure synthesis. If you are purely looking for a collection of great samples, Komplete 9 provides you with a wide range that will keep you busy for a considerable time. The synthesizers are elaborate and meant for adventurous sound designers who want to create their own sounds. They are also equipped with a large number of presets, so less experienced sound designers can also work with them. The diversity of Komplete 9 makes this package ideally suited for use in pop music, TV, gaming and film music.

Native Instruments' Traktor Now Fully Supported by OS X El Capitan

Native Instruments has announced that Traktor and all related software and hardware are now fully supported by Apple's latest operating system, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan. Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly. To do so, visit the NI Service Center, click 'Update' and then 'Show Details' in the 'Driver and Patch Downloads' section.
