De MXR M159 Stereo Tremolo is een effectpedaal dat uw gitaar dat pulserende effect meegeeft, alsof u ritmisch aan de volume-knop draait. De M159 is vrijwel exact hetzelfde gebouwd als de Dunlop TS-1: een stompbox van dezelfde fabrikant, die lange tijd het voorbeeld was voor alle andere tremolo-pedalen. Het verschil is echter dat de M159 Stereo Tremolo netjes in een pedalboard past. Zo wordt het nu wel erg aantrekkelijk om die legendarische stereo ping-pong-klanken in huis te halen!

De analoge M159

De M 159 Stereo Tremolo gebruikt uitsluitend analoge circuits om u te voorzien van een warme tremolo-deken. Ook de behuizing, jacks en knoppen zijn trouwens ouderwets degelijk, zodat u een leven lang plezier hebt van dit klassieke gitaareffect. Stel met de depth-knop de intensiteit van het effect in en gebruik de speed-knop voor de snelheid van de tremolo. De shape-knop bepaalt de wave-vorm waarmee het signaal wordt gemoduleerd (sine, trapeziod of square). U hebt bovendien de keus uit de mono-tremolo en de stereo-variant, die u bijvoorbeeld van versterker naar versterker kunt laten stuiteren!
