Met het MXR JHM2 Jimi Hendrix Tribute 70th Ann. Octavio effectpedaal laat de gitarist oude tijden herleven. Dit effectpedaal creëert de welbekende octaaf-omhoog fuzz-geluiden die gitaarvirtuoos Hendrix toepaste in klassiekers zoals Purple Haze en One Rainy Wish. De JHM2 is een hedendaagse iteratie van het oorspronkelijke wigvormige (‘cheese wedge’) octaviopedaal van Hendrix met een nauwkeurige reproductie van het binnenwerk. De fabrikant maakt het u bovendien makkelijk en heeft het pedaal aangevuld met een paar praktische snufjes zoals een LED-statusindicator, een true-bypass-functie en een handig compact ontwerp.

Dit effectpedaal gaat gehuld in een bijzonder stijlvol jasje. De compacte duurzame behuizing is voorzien van fraai artwork met de beeltenis van Jimi Hendrix. Deze print is ontworpen door grafisch vormgever John van Hamersveld. De JHM2 is gelukkig niet alleen fraai om te zien. Dankzij het gebruiksvriendelijke ontwerp kan elke gitarist direct uit de voeten met dit pedaal. U werkt met één level-knop voor het volumeniveau van het effect en één fuzz-knop om de mate van oversturing te bepalen. Met de voetschakelaar activeert u het octaaf effect waarmee u een mix krijgt van uw originele gitaargeluid en een één octaaf hogere versie hiervan. De true-bypass switching maakt het gebruiksgemak compleet. Zo ondervindt uw geluid geen enkele invloed van de JHM2 wanneer het pedaal uitgeschakeld is.
