De 2408mk3 PCI audio interface van Motu is een krachtige 24-bit/96kHz audio interface. Deze audio interface bestaat uit twee delen, het eerste deel, de PCI 424 PCI kaart steekt u in uw computer. Dit is dus de werkelijke geluidskaart. Het tweede gedeelte is een 19 inch breakout box. Hierin zitten alle analoge en digitale in- en uitgangen en dat zijn er nog al wat.

Deze geluidskaart heeft acht analoge in- en acht analoge uitgangen, 24 kanalen digitale ADAT en Tascam I/O. U kunt uw systeem altijd uitbreiden, daar de PCI 424 tot vier units aan kan. Hiervoor kunt u de apart verkrijgbare Motu 2408mk3 I/O aanschaffen. Zo kunt u tot 32 analoge kanalen opnemen, en heeft u 96 ADAT kanalen tot uw beschikking, die u weer kunt uitbreiden met een acht kanaals AD/DA I/O. Zo heeft u 80 analoge in- en uitgangen.

Deze audio interface is ideaal voor studio’s die alleen digitaal verwerken en geen externe mixer hebben. De PCI 424 is voorzien van een krachtige DSP chip die samen met de CueMix DSP software zorgt voor een krachtige audio en monitor mixer. Sluit eenvoudig al uw apparatuur zoals synths, gitaar en effecten aan op de 2408mk3 en maak een eindmix met de bijgeleverde software. Deze software heeft nauwelijks latency, dus u werkt zorgeloos en zonder vervelende vertragingen.

Naast alle audio features is de 2408 voorzien van video en SMPTE. U kunt deze audio interface dus niet alleen in muziek en opname studio’s gebruiken, maar ook voor post productie. Al uw video apparatuur kun u synchroniseren met het audio signaal van de Motu.

De Motu 2408mk3 PCI audio interface en de bijgeleverde software draait op Mac en alle versies van Windows XP, Vista en op 32 en 64 bit.
