Meinl's DJW2GAB-M djembe features a 27-inch high rubberwood shell with a natural finish and was inspired by traditional West-African instruments. It also features a True Skin goatskin drumhead, which helps the drum produce both deep, round lows and sharp highs that will easily grab the attention of your audience. The rubber pads make this djembe very comfortable to play, even for extended periods of time. The DJW2GAB-M is suited for many different types of music, regardless of whether you're a solo musician or part of a large band. The possibilities are nigh endless.

Tuning system

The drumhead has a 12.75-inch diameter and is very easy to remove and to tune, thanks to the simple, yet effective Floatune Tuning System with its 3mm-thick SSR rims and 8mm-thick chrome lugs. To make your life easier still, Meinl even included an L-shaped tuning key and some Tune Up oil, which helps keep the drumhead in good shape.
