Mapex Black Panther snare drum Cherry Bomb

General

The Cherry Bomb is part of Mapex' Black Panther line of snare drums. This series was developed by the specialists at Mapex, in conjunction with a number of international Mapex endorsers. The aim for this series of drums was to have every individual drum in the collection exhibit a distinct and unique personality.

Cherry wood

This Cherry Bomb snare is very easy on the eyes, but also on the ears. Mapex chose to leave the natural colour of the cherry wood completely intact, so this snare has an unmistakable dark-red glow to it and the inside of the shell is a reddish brown colour. The glossy lacquer enhances the depth of the colour on the outside even more, while the wood grain looks beautiful in combination with the chrome hardware. It would be no mistake to call this a beautiful snare.

Warm sound

Cherry wood creates a rich sound, as the smaller, 13-inch diameter makes it more dense, allowing the snare drum as a whole to sound quite pleasant and warm. This snare drum definitely comes highly recommended!
