U kende vast de Mackie DL1608 digitale iPad mixer al. Daar is nu een wat compactere variant voor in de plaats gekomen, die zich eveneens leent voor mobiele installatie-toepassingen. De DL806! Deze 30-pins versie werkt op basis van een iPad 1, 2 of 3, beschikt over 8 Onyx voorversterkers en is ideaal voor kleinere gelegenheden. Microfoons, instrumenten en lijnsignaalbronen zijn in een handomdraai aan te sluiten. Dat kan zowel via de 4 XLR/jack combi-connectoren en een viertal XLR's.

Techniek van de DL806

De DL806 is voorzien van fantoomvoeding, Cirrus Logic 24-bits converters, een vierbands EQ, gate en compressor per kanaal, 31-bands grafische EQ op de master bud en een compressor/limiter. Maar al die mooie opties worden bediend met uw iPad, terwijl de DL806 het audiotechnische gedeelte voor zijn rekening neemt. De combinatie van audio- en processingkracht wordt zo optimaal verdeeld. Met de praktische app kan iedereen er geluid uit krijgen. Geef aan welke signaalbronnen u gebruikt en de DL806 biedt u alle opties die u nodig heeft.

Versleutelen en vergrendelen

Komt de DL806 in een vaste installatie te hangen waar hij diefstalgevoelig is? Dan gebruikt u het PadLock systeem om de iPad te vergrendelen en een Kensington lock om de hele unit te vergrendelen. Vier analoge aux sends maken het mogelijk om aparte monitormixen te maken, waarbij iedere muzikant met een iPad (mits er een router wordt gebruikt) verbinding kan maken en zijn eigen monitorgeluid, of de main mix kan bedienen.
