De Profire-610 van M-Audio tovert uw PC of MAC om tot een krachtige 6in - 10uit opname studio. De digitale converters leveren hoge 24-bit/192kHz audio kwaliteit. Twee voorversterkers met Octane technologie zorgen voor zeer zuiver geluid bij opname. Met de Profire-610 bent u zeer flexibel in opnames maken dankzij de DSP mixer die ingebouwd zit. Deze geluidskaart behoort tot de betere I/O interfaces die op de markt zijn voor home recording.

Wrote the following about M-Audio Profire-610

Voornaamste nadeel van deze interface is dat hij niet "hot pluggable" is; je moet de computer pas opstarten nadat je hem hebt aangesloten en aangezet, anders werkt de interface niet. Met name bij podium-gebruik is dat erg onhandig. Verder functioneert hij goed en klinkt ok.
