De vernieuwde Oxygen 49 is het kleine broertje van de Oxygen 61 en heeft dezelfde eigenschappen, alleen een octaaf minder toetsen maar een grotere mobiliteit vanwege zijn kleinere vorm.
De Oxygen 49 beschikt over een ingebouwde MIDI interface, sliders en in totaal 35 toewijsbare MIDI controllers voor de complete controle over hardware en software. Bus-powered en een laag gewicht.
