General
The M-Audio Keystation 49 ES mk2 is a very durable USB/MIDI keyboard. If you combine it with a low-latency sound card, you will have all the elements you need to start making and recording music on your PC or Mac. The keyboard can be connected to the USB port of your computer; this is also how it is powered. Once connected, you can instantly start composing thanks to the accessory recording and Key-rig software.
Keystation 49 ES mk 2: simplicity
Most MIDI controllers have an extensive selection of controller functions for your recording software. The Keystation 49 ES mk2 does not, however, as its main focus is playing music. The 49 touch-sensitive keys have a much better feel than those of most USB MIDI keyboards in this price range. The Keystation 49 ES mk2 is equipped with a sustain pedal input, octave +/- buttons, edit-mode button, volume slider, pitch and modulation wheel.
Accessory software
The M-Audio Keystation 49 ES mk2 is delivered including four virtual instruments and a Lite version of Ableton Live. This software allows you to record keyboard partitions and edit them. The four virtual instruments (PC only) are: SP-1 Stage Piano, MS-2 Polyphonic Synthesizer, MB-3 Tone Wheel Organ and the GM-4 General MIDI. The latter contains 256 standard MIDI sounds, among which drums, violins, brass instruments, synths and more!

Kortom: niks op aan te merken, plug & play, erg degelijk!
ik vind deze keyboard uitstekend ik heb hem besteld omdat hij in mijn home studio nu staat en hij is er handig alleen ik heb een nadeel ik heb fl studio waar ik heb nu op gebruik maar ik wou ook de bij mee geleverde software uitproberen maar dat kan niet want hij download hem niet
Wat ik zocht was een klein degelijk midikeyboard voor in mijn homestudio, met het doel eenvoudig muziek te kunnen componeren met vst's via de computer. Zelf ben ik geen toetsenist, maar ik heb me later adviseren door de toetsenist van mijn band.
Pluspunten:
- Zeer eenvoudig aan te sluiten en te gebruiken;
- Klein, maar wel net genoeg toetsen om met 2 handen te spelen;
- Meegeleverde Ignite software is zeer handig en makkelijk om snel muzikale ideeën uit te werken.
- usb-powered, externe voeding is mogelijk;
- Prima aanslaggevoeligheid;
- Goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.
Minpunten (punten om in overweging te nemen):
- Te klein voor het echte toetsenwerk;
- Géén midi in- en outputs.
Kortom, wanneer het doel eenvoudig is, kom je weg met dit eenvoudige product. Wanneer je denkt in de toekomst meer te willen, soundmodules aan wilt sturen of iets dergelijks, dan kun je beter verder kijken naar een iets meer geavanceerd apparaat.

de Keystation 49 heeft geen extra opties waardoor het voor
de beginnende en gevorderde producer een zeer fijn en betaalbaar midi keyboard is.
Het is mogelijk om van octaven te wisselen door de "octave" knoppen.
Een zeer fijn en betaalbaar product voor de beginnende & gevorderde Producer.
