Klein van stuk, maar groot in zijn mogelijkheden. Dat is de kracht van de Axiom 25. M-Audio komt nu met een upgrade van deze USB MIDI controller.

De Pro editie van de Axiom 25 heeft dezelfde kenmerken als zijn voorganger. De controller heeft een toetsenbord met 25 semi-gewogen toetsen met TruTouch (voorheen aftertouch) die onafhankelijk in te stellen zijn, 8 aanslaggevoelige triggerpads, 8 encoders en 6 toewijsbare knoppen. De Axiom Pro 25 is compatibel met DAW's als Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic en Reason.

Grootste toevoeging aan de Axiom 25 Pro is de revolutionaire HyperControl techniek. Deze nieuw ontwikkelde techniek synchroniseert de controller met DAW, waardoor de hardware van de controller en de software van de DAW nog meer geïntegreerd raken. HyperControl zorgt er met de constante twee weg connectie van controller met DAW bijvoorbeeld voor dat de opties van het keyboard altijd en automatisch verwerkt worden in de actieve parameters van de software. De Pro editie van de Axiom 25 combineert de controller met ASCII toetsencombinaties, waardoor via de controller de shortcuts van de DAW gebruikt kunnen worden.

Naast HyperControl heeft M-Audio gekeken naar de "feeling" van deze controller. De Pro versie van de Axiom 25 is verbeterd op dit vlak, waardoor het keyboard nog meer is gaan lijken op een echte piano.

Geweldige Midi controler!

Speelt heerlijk en werkt goed met Reason, Cubase en Protools!

De drumpads is wel even wennen maar verder ben ik nog geen minpunten tegen gekomen.
