General

The Korg TMR-50 (white) is a metronome, tuner and recorder all rolled into one. The TMR-50 has been modelled after the comprehensive TM-50, but now also offers the option of a recorder. The three functions of the device can be used separately as well as simultaneously, enabling you to evaluate your own sense of rhythm and the pitch of your performance while you are playing back your recordings. The Loop Play function allows you to repeat a certain part of the recorded track.

TMR-50: learn how to play/sing pitch-perfect

Ever practical, Korg has equipped the tuner function of the TMR-50 with three different tuning modes. Based on the incoming signal (received via the jack input or built-in microphone), the Meter mode provides clear feedback about the purity of a tone by means of an LCD needle. Would you like to hear a reference tone first? Use the Sound Out function. Finally, the Sound Back mode detects the pitch of your voice or instrument and produces the nearest reference tone, enabling you to correct yourself.

Comprehensive functionality

The metronome part of the Korg TMR50 white is capable of producing a wide range of rhythms and time signatures and, as such, allows you to carefully hone your own rhythmic skills. The TMR50 is powered by two AA batteries and features a practical integrated stand, a headphone output and an internal speaker. It is also equipped with a microphone input, which enables you to plug in the separately available CM100L, so you can effortlessly tune up in noisy environments as well. Finally, a USB port allows for easy data exchange with your PC or Mac.
