General
Korg staat vooral bekend om haar synthesizers, maar kan er met de stage piano's ook wat van! De SP250 is een draagbare stage piano met 88 toetsen keyboard met touch control: u kunt hierbij kiezen tussen light, normal en heavy. De polyfonie beslaat 60 stemmen maximaal, en er zijn 30 sounds ingebouwd, waaronder 5 piano's, 7 electric piano's en zelfs een akoestische gitaar! Ook zijn er een reverb-effect en een chorus-effect aanwezig, en 30 demo songs. Al dit moois komt bovendien uit twee Dual Cone speakers (10cm) met bass-reflex speaker box, zodat u de heldere klanken die uit deze stage piano komen ook nog eens helder hoort! Natuurlijk is het ook mogelijk om deze piano aan te sluiten op bijvoorbeeld een externe versterker of mengpaneel aan te sluiten. Onder deze piano zit bovendien een standaard, zodat u geen extern standaard nodig hebt. Ook is een demper/sustain pedaal meegeleverd, zodat u direct aan de slag kunt!

Ik moet echter eerlijk toegeven dat ik aangenaam verrast was toen ik de eerst maal op dit instrument gespeeld heb. de klank is heel helder en ook wat betreft het spelen zelf vind ik de aanslaggevoeligheid heel hoogstaand. Dit is geen klassieke piano, maar als elektronisch instrument heeft de Korg SP250 mij mijn mening over deze electronika doen herzien.
