JBL introduceerde jaren terug de JRX-reeks, de instapreeks van JBL die op plekken wordt ingezet waar het budget niet hoog is, maar er wel veel geluidsdruk moet zijn. Zeker bij jongerenfeesten en sommige horeca gelegenheden is regelmatig een flinke geluidsdruk nodig en dat is precies waar deze kasten goed in zijn. Dankzij de 15 inch woofer presteert de luidspreker nog vrij goed in het laag, waarbij de 1 inch hoogdriver scherpe klanken weergeeft, ideaal wanneer u regelmatig DJ's over de vloer heeft die house of electro draaien.

Echter, zonder versterking kan de luidspreker niet zoveel. Daarom wordt bij deze set ook Crown in het leven geroepen. Het merk dat met recht een kroon op hun werk zet als het gaat om versterking, heeft de XLS-reeks op de markt gebracht. Ware werkpaarden als het gaat om bedrijfszekerheid, betrouwbaarheid, vermogen, kwaliteit en beveiligingen, precies zoals we van Crown gewend zijn. Mede hierdoor wordt Crown hoog aangeschreven op het gebied van versterking.

De combinatie van JBL en Crown is perfect, omdat er efficiënt wordt omgegaan met het beschikbare vermogen, de luidsprekers flink belast kunnen worden en zeker als er regelmatig iemand anders achter de knoppen staat zal het systeem niet snel de geest geven wegens overbelasting. Hier tegenover staat ook nog eens een flinke geluidsdruk, perfect geschikt dus voor discotheken. Kabels worden meegeleverd met deze set, dus het is een kwestie van plug & play.
