De SLXMG Super Light Soloist is een gitaarmodel uit de X-Serie van Jackson. De gitaar is geschikt voor het betere scheurwerk dankzij de twee EMG humbucker-elementen. Deze actieve, hoge output-pickups houden uw distortion te allen tijde strak en transparant. De toets heeft een ronding bij de topkam zodat u snel en gemakkelijk uw vingers kunt verplaatsen. En dankzij de vlakkere uitloop naar de body kunt u sneller soleren en zullen uw bends minder snel de hals raken. De gitaar is verder uitgerust met 24 jumbo fretten en een Floyd Rose tremelo.

De bouw van de Jackson SLSXMG Super Light Soloist

Kenmerkend aan de Soloist-gitaren van Jackson is de 'neck through body'-constructie. Hierbij wordt de hals niet geschroefd maar gelijmd en loopt door tot onderin de body. Dit garandeert een langere sustain en ziet er tevens erg fraai uit. De hals is verder afgewerkt met Shark Fin-positievlakken. De lichtgewicht body is van basswood en voorzien van een gefineerde maple top.

Helemaal in zijn element

De gitaar is voorzien van twee EMG humbucker-elementen. De EMG-81 pickup bij de brug levert een scherpe attack en een geweldige sustain voor briljante solo's. Rond de hals zit een EMG-85 pickup, deze levert een meer natuurlijke en vollere toon. Verder is de gitaar uitgerust met een Floyd Rose tremolo double-locking systeem. Dit systeem heeft als groot voordeel dat de gitaar niet ontstemd raakt. Zelfs na extreem grote toonhoogte-veranderingen zijn de tonen nog keurig in harmonie met elkaar.De Jackson SLSXMG Super Light Soloist is zeer geschikt voor de metal-gitarist en bevat een krachtige sound.
