General

The Jackson RRXMG X Series Rhoads model is based on the famous offset V-guitar design by Randy Rhoads. This matte black version is a highly limited edition and is only available via exclusive dealers. Luckily, Bax-shop got their hands on this matte black beauty. This matte black version really brings out its striking, yet ergonomic design. Everything about the Jackson RRXMG radiates speed and strength - not only in terms of looks but also when it comes to hardware.

Body and neck

The lightweight basswood body produces a growling midrange, an articulated sound and great sustain which makes it perfect for rock and metal music. The neck is made of maple and joined with the body by means of a neck-through construction. This construction provides optimal playability up to the highest frets. Thanks to the compound radius-fretboard, which measures 12 inches at the string nut and 16 inches at the body, you get a comfortable playing experience. The rosewood fretboard is fitted with characteristic shark fin inlays.

Floyd Rose tremolo and EMG pickups

The final touch of quality is contributed by a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. Guitarists can rely on the stability and consistency of the tuning of the Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge on the Jackson RRXMG. The pickup configuration consists of the famous metal duo EMG 81 and EMG 85. The active EMG 85 at the neck provides a warm, smooth and natural sound while the EMG 81 at the bridge gives you lots of output and the ability to cut through the loudest mix.
