De UKS50 ukelele van Ibanez heeft een soprano style body: slanker en langwerpiger dan een concert body ukelele. Deze sopraan ukelele heeft een warme klankkarakteristiek en is ideaal om vocalen te voorzien van instrumentale begeleiding. De body is gemaakt van Figured Koa en heeft een naturel kleur met hoogglans afwerking. Het fretboard en de brug zijn gemaakt van palissander (rosewood) en de hals is van mahoniehout. Deze houtsoorten dragen bij aan zijn mooie, warme klank.
