General

In the last 25 years, Ibanez's SR series has grown into a modern alternative to regular bass guitars, offering an excellent price-to-quality ratio, lightweight bodies and slim, fast, comfortable necks. Even in the original SR series, with its manifold of striking instruments, the Ibanez SR300B-YE really catches the eye thanks to its canary yellow colour and exceptional hardware. This bass guitar also features all the specs that made the SR series so popular, including the fast, comfortable neck and lightweight body. Both features greatly contribute to a comfortable playing experience.
Wood and hardware: durable and strong
The Ibanez SR300B Yellow is made of agathis, a wood type that is not often used for bass guitars. This type of high-quality wood is exceptionally strong and is similar to alder in terms of stability and sustain. The bass guitar also features a neck made of rosewood and maple, providing stability and improving the playing comfort. Thanks to the smooth rosewood neck you can let your fingers slide along the frets with ease. The Yellow is fitted with a B120 bridge, making string replacement very easy thanks to extra-large string holders.
Electronics and punchy pickups
Thanks to EXF-N2 pickups, known for their punchy sound, the Ibanez SR300-YE has a fast and sharp attack, making it sound exceptionally tight. As such, the Yellow is a great bass guitar for different music genres, but it's perfect for modern rock especially.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
