Rock music sounds best when played on the RG440V, the ideal instrument for guitarists who use the tremolo a lot, thanks to its ZPS-FX system. This guitar is equipped with a glossy pearloid pickguard that protects the wood during violent guitar playing. The neck consists of three accurately set-in parts to prevent bending for extra stability and reliability.
The powerful Axis pickups
Axis pickups have a good response and sound rather full, making them all-rounders and suited for more than only rock music. For fast guitar playing, a quick response is desirable and all notes need to be accentuated properly. The single-coil sounds traditional but has a slightly higher output.
The ZPS-FX bridge
According to the Ibanez guitar designers, the Zero-Point system, that can be found in the Premium and Prestige guitars, could be much simpler. The ZPS system provides a very smooth tremolo with its hidden power in the bridge. The ZPS-FX system is more simple but feels just as smooth and frictionless! Moreover, the special SynchroniZR tremolo will never come undone until you unscrew it yourself.
