General

De AS semi-akoestische gitaar is een model dat ook wel bekend staat als semi-hollow body. Deze gitaar is zeer geschikt voor iedere denkbare moderne muziekstijl, vooral te danken aan het veelzijdig karakter van dit instrument. Van buiten oogt de AS53-TKF als een 'full hollow body', maar van binnen zit in deze gitaar nog een houten blok tussen de elementen. Hierdoor is de feedback beduidend minder dan bij een full hollow body gitaar.

Ibanez AS53-TKF AS-serie hollow body gitaar:

De semi-hollow gitaar bevindt zich tussen een hollow- en solid body gitaar. Dit resulteert in een warmere klank en minder resonantie dan een full hollow body-model. De ACH-ST humbucker brug- en hals elementen dragen bij aan het warme en heldere geluid van deze gitaar. Met zijn dubbele cutaway, 22 medium frets en halsbevestiging bij de zeventiende fret heeft de AS53-TKF een zeer goede bespeelbaarheid, zeker voor de hogere noten. De body is gemaakt van Sapele, ook wel bekend als Sapeli. Dit is een aan mahonie verwante houtsoort, die bekend staat om zijn voortreffelijke klankeigenschappen. Zo is de hals van deze gitaar bijvoorbeeld van mahoniehout, en deze is voorzien van een palissander toets. De beste houtsoorten dus, voor die geweldige klank!

Balans

De AS53-TKF met Transparent Black Flat finish is met zijn prachtige sound zeer geschikt voor jazz, blues, maar natuurlijk ook pop en lichte rock. Wanneer u de ideale balans zoekt tussen een solid body en full hollow body gitaar, haalt u met deze Ibanez AS53 het perfecte instrument in huis!

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
